About Lighthouse Parenting Hub

A Foundation Built in Partnership

"Behind every effective parenting resource is someone who has walked the journey themselves, someone who understands that parenting is equal parts privilege and challenge, requiring both deep wisdom and daily grace."

Meet Your Guide:

Dr. Toyin Atolagbe

My journey into parenting education began not in a classroom, but in my own home, facing the beautiful complexity of raising children in today's world. Like many parents, I discovered that love alone, while essential, wasn't sufficient; I needed frameworks, strategies, and community support to help my children thrive.

By the grace of God, I exist to shepherd families and form souls. Through classical Christian education and the ministry of parenting, I help parents and educators recover what matters most: truth, virtue, and the restful confidence that God is faithful. I believe every child is an image-bearer of God worth forming with care, every parent is called to a work greater than they know, and every act of faithful education is an act of worship. From Lagos to Phoenix, my life's work is one unbroken calling: to lead with wisdom, serve with love, and point every child and family toward the goodness of Christ.

Dr. Toyin Atolagbe is the Director of Educator and Parent Partnerships at the Humanitas Institute. Prior to this she served as Executive Director of Great Hearts Christos, a private Christian classical school with campuses in Phoenix and Gilbert, Arizona. With over two decades of experience in education, as a teacher, administrator, and founder, she has shaped learning communities across continents. Previously, she led Archway Lincoln Classical Academy as Headmaster and was a founding faculty member at Archway Arete Classical Academy and Archway Trivium Classical Academy, all Great Hearts Academies. She is also the co-founder of Agape International School in Ilorin, Nigeria, which offers free classical education to underserved communities. She is the founder of Lighthouse Parenting Hub, a partnership that equips parents through public speaking, training, coaching, and curated resources to foster flourishing families. Dr. Atolagbe earned her Doctor of Education from Grand Canyon University, a Master of Education from the University of Lethbridge, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Ilorin. A devoted Christian, Dr. Atolagbe’s leadership is grounded in faith, service, and the transformative power of education. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Gilbert and finds joy in worship, community outreach, and nurturing her family. Personal Philosophy

I believe that effective parenting transcends cultural and religious boundaries while honoring the unique values each family holds dear. My approach integrates the best of developmental science with time-tested wisdom, recognizing that families come in many forms and face diverse challenges.

When I'm Not Working

You'll find me exploring nature from the lens of my TV, reading voraciously, cooking with my family, and continually learning from the parents and children I'm privileged to serve. I believe that authenticity in parenting education requires ongoing personal growth and honest acknowledgment of our own learning edges.

My Comittment To You

Every resource, session, and piece of content I create is developed with deep respect for your family's unique circumstances and values. My goal is never to prescribe a one-size-fits-all solution, but to offer tools and insights that you can adapt to serve your family's specific needs and goals.
